You can use the Pest Stop Outdoor Rat Repeller on battery power or mains electric power.
On battery power the Pest Stop Outdoor Rat Repeller will emit ultrasonic sound waves when a Rat comes into it's PIR range. If you use mains electric power to work the Pest Stop Rat Repeller then ultrasonic sound waves are emitted constantly and does not need a Rat to come into its PIR range but repels and deters Rats continuously.
